DraftKings, the Boston-based sportsbook giant founded in 2012, launched DraftKings Predictions in December 2025. Rather than betting against the house, users trade event contracts with each other in a peer-to-peer marketplace, with contracts priced between $0.01 and $0.99 and settling at $1 or $0.

Its biggest asset is distribution: a massive existing sports audience and a trusted brand, running on a CFTC-regulated exchange the company controls. As a recent launch, breadth beyond sports is still limited, but the trajectory and reach make it one to watch closely.
